Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi vows strict action against terrorism and clarifies U.S. visit

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that any individual or group taking up arms against Pakistan will face strong and decisive action. In a recent media interaction during his visit to Houston, USA, the minister emphasized the government’s commitment to combating terrorism, stressing that it is a global challenge, not just a Pakistani issue.
Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi explained that the primary purpose of his visit to the United States was to engage with American lawmakers and strategize on collaborative efforts to counter-terrorism. His meetings aimed at fostering a stronger alliance between the two countries in the fight against extremism.
Addressing recent misinformation, the interior minister also responded to accusations regarding his participation in anti-China events in the U.S. He clarified that he had attended a youth-focused event, which had been misrepresented by critics. Naqvi strongly rejected the allegations, labelling them as baseless propaganda with no factual foundation.
He further described the claims as a deliberate attempt to incite tension in the U.S. House of Representatives against Pakistan. Naqvi urged political opponents to refrain from actions that could harm the country’s interests, emphasizing the importance of national unity.
